Our Creative Director Dan picks a random track, our guest adds a track that they think of in response and explains the link, then they go back and forth for 10 tracks.

Track 1 - T. Rex "Ride A White Swan"
DD: Kicking off with the easy breezy T. Rex classic “Ride A White Swan”.
Track 2 - Tim Maia "Réu Confesso"
SM: Tim Maia “Réu Confesso” - the reason being the album artwork of T. Rex reminded me of it!
Track 3 - Lee Fields & The Expressions "It Rains Love"
DD: Great track and a great link. The first 5 seconds immediately made me think of Lee Fields "It Rains Love" which has similar groove.
Track 4 - Mac DeMarco "Brother"
SM: The guitar tone he’s got there reminded me of Mac De Marco’s “Brother”. Listening to it, its maybe not that similar. But that’s where my mind went and that’s the link!
Track 5 - JW Francis "Good Time"
DD: The link being that he is also wearing a baseball cap on the cover and the opening line is "I love my brother".
Track 6 - Damon Albarn "Hostiles"
SM: His voice reminds me of Damon Albarn a lot – so I’m picking Hostiles as my link as its one of my faves of his.
Track 7 - Sébastien Tellier "La Ritournelle"
DD: This features Tony Allen on drums who was a member of The Good, The Bad & The Queen with Damon Albarn. Haven't listened to this in ages!
Track 8 - Joe Dassin "Les Champs-Elysées"
SM: This is nice and tenuous, just his French name made me think of his compatriot Joe Dassin and this little number. Always a good one to start singing in a rural bar in France if you want to make friends!
Track 9 - Françpoise Hardy - "Oh Oh Chéri"
DD: Sticking with the French theme, Françoise Hardy was born and raised not far from Les Champs-Elysees.
